Future Ahsoka

I got to watching The Clone Wars series on Netflix, which I was initially not much a fan of. Having watched it in it's entirety, I think it's quite awesome. I found myself very attached to Ahsoka by the end, a character I absolutely loathed in the beginning.

I was intrigued by a certain episode where she has a vision of her "future self"...so I drew "future Ahsoka". Because why not.

Graphic

While I do tend to trudge into this territory anyway, my art teacher has been reinforcing it for the past couple of weeks. I was also flipping through some old Marvel Star Wars comics and took some notes on how they were colored. I went off in a rather different direction, but that is where the inspiration lies. :)

Also, a sketch (with my pens, of course!):

More Pens!

But first I just want to say, hallelujah, I got Photoshop back. GIMP is a nice, free alternative, but it just doesn't quite cut it...well, it is free.

I treated myself to some more pens of different sizes and now I'm having twice as much fun as before. I did some line work of Leia in her brief, but awesome, Bespin outfit.

Plus, hey, happy birthday to me. I hope I get more pens... ;)

Han!

I bought myself a new pen that I've been experimenting with. And what can I say? I love drawing Han's profile. I've probably drawn it 100 times already. I suppose the angular-ness of it is what I enjoy. I attempted Leia as well, but she wasn't going the way I wanted.

As a bonus, the very first experiment I did with my fabulous new pen. It also features a similar Han head, but the rest was just what ever came out.

Ta-dah.

School and music have been sucking up my art time, so I haven't been too productive. In fact, I've gotten pretty rusty. I have nothing presentable that I've done recently, but here is an older sketch I did a few months ago that I wasn't particularly happy with. Again, with the sketches!

More Sketching + Goggle Love

I got this idea for a little project; making Han and Leia look ridiculously badass, something laced with testosterone. Most importantly, an excuse to show my respect for the goggles (in case you weren't aware, goggles are badass). I was thinking of doing it like a comic book cover, but we'll see how it goes. For now, enjoy some of the sketches from this evening:

Bonus! Here's a digitally colorized version of Leia:
